Title: The Weight of Us

Author's note:  This was a labor of love and would have never come to fruition without the fabulous beta and cheerleading skills of [livejournal.com profile] iam_space  .  There is no way it would have been possible without you, babe.
Disclaimer:  Hawaii Five-0 and its characters are property of CBS, et. al. Title ([livejournal.com profile] iam_space's idea so thanks again, babe) from the song of the same name by Sanders Bohlke.

Tell me you’re not going to hate me for this decision, Steve. Tell me we can survive this. )

I know, it's been an ETERNITY since I posted a fic.  This little one-shot conversation just would leave me alone so ... enough stalling.  Here be fic:

Summary: I of II of missing scene ficlets from Con Man in the Meth Lab

A/N:  A little mini ficlet of a missing scene that swirled around in my head all weekend.  Thanks to my f-list for the gobs of encouragement they've heaped my way to get me writing again.  This may not be an epic masterpiece, but it felt good to put words on paper (well, onscreen if we must be technical about it ...)

A/N: My first multi-chapter fic.  It holds a special place in my heart so it deserves a place here as well I suppose.

Title: Home for Me
Rating: M for language, and some B&B lovin’.
Author’s Note: ONESHOT. This is just my take on a few things. Like what it is Booth wants, and what the misconceptions are. Set a little into the future. And yes, I’m dipping a very nervous toe into smut, so please be brutally honest if it’s terrible.

I read and read and read  - thousands of fics a year I'd say - and I find myself wishing every time that somewhere, someone, would compile a complete anthology of 'the good ones.'   Then I ask myself that who decides which ones are 'the good ones'; after all, everyone has different tastes.  So I wonder what makes a good story?  To me, it's in canon and in character for an ongoing tv show, and in character for a movie, because the very nature of a story based on a movie can't be in canon if it occurs after the events of said movie.  How does everyone else judge?
