I right now am in a Bones obsession (my addictions seem to go in waves of very strong likings haha), so that's what I'm reading and writing, but I've also written a bit of and read a bunch of Gilmore Girls.

I started out watching GG a while ago, and that's how I found fanfiction, but then I found Bones (which is to me like a combination of two of my favorite shows-CSI and Gilmore Girls-that makes Bones more addicting than the other two!) and that's what I've stuck with lately.

I haven't really read any other stories that are from a different show, but I'm sure at some point I will (right now I'm definitely thinking of taking a look at the POTC fic you suggested).
