Because I watched Buffy so goddamn long ago I remembered DB (obvs) but not really their relationship. So yeah, it was the same for me when watching Angel. Don't get me started about that friggin' evil!Cordy nonsense! :'(

Yeah, when Connor appeared it went straight down hill. I think I'm permanently scarred from the Connor/Cordy sexing. *gags*

I thought the idea of Connor as a baby was awesome and then ... yuck.

I'll just pretend evil!Cordy never existed!

Ha ha!!! Me too!! Bleurgh! I'm only glad I watched from the DVDs, because I was able to quickly ascertain she wasn't exactly herself. Sigh. I really missed her in S5 - I struggled to get through it in all honesty. Charisma Carpenter is so sparky - and I kind of realised a lot of what I liked about the show was the chemistry between Cordelia and Angel, Charisma and David. It's interesting to me, that he seems to obtain great chemistry with his female co-stars. I guess none of them are blind, right, but it must say something about him as a person.

Charisma and David really did have a great chemistry, and maybe it is just something about him.

Plus Charisma was really such a bright light on the show. Everything without her was darker. Wonder what she's been up to? Haven't seen her in much.

She really was a bright light. According to her Wiki she was last in Legend of the Seeker. But everything seems like bit parts. I'd love to see her in something regularly again.
