Every time I see the promo for the SAG awards, which has a delightful shot of JD in the clip, my inner fangirl heart worries that if the WGA strike isn't over soon, we will be in a bad way when Oscar time comes around.  Even though I can't say that Sweeney Todd does much for me, I find that his refusal to play the 'hot guy' roles actually makes him more attractive.  In fact, it has led me to the conclusion that it's time to host my own Johnny Deppathon one Saturday when dear hubby has class (he doesn't appreciate me hogging the big tv for my obsessions). If anyone has a favorite role of JD, I'd love to hear about it so I can add to my collection.

A friend of mine at work today was talking about 'Sweeney Todd' and her crush on Johnny. I lost it at hearing a suburban soccer mom with the proverbial minivan say she had a thing for him because, "he looks like he'd be experimental in bed". Capt. Jack brings out the pirate in all of us ;)

ROFLMAO! I guess he just has that effect! What does experimental in bed mean when people say it. Or more to the point, what does them saying it say about their sex lives?!

I'm going to assume that everyone has their own definition of "experimental", and leave it at that :) I will say I agree with her sentiment about the smoothly sexy Johnny. He doesn't have the raw sex appeal of our dear DB, but there is definitely something about him.

God. DB and his raw sex appeal. I always thought he was cute, but since he's got older he's just sex on legs *thud*

How much do you love that photo shoot with him and his missus btw? Wow. They look amazing. My fav shots are the one with him in the bed (obviously) and the one where she is in the foreground and he is in the back taking off his jacket.

They are so lucky to have these lovely pics to keep. I'd love to do something like that with my hubby. Unfortunately I'd need to lose about two stone first LOL.
