Twilight Series ...

doc_3I know this came up several months ago but what are ya'll's opinions ("ya'll" is a word, let's get that out of the way) on the 'Twilight' series, by Stephanie Meyer? I read the first book yesterday (yes, in 4 hours) and I'm not sure I want to commit to this series. It was good, and obviously a pretty easy read, but seriously, do I want to get emotionally involved here or not? I can't seem to make up my mind if I want to make the emotional investment. Or will there be and emotional investment? Anyway, I know you gals won't steer me wrong.

Date: 2009-01-05 12:38 am (UTC)I have heard negative reviews for the last book from other sources so I think that's why I'm so hesitant to get any further involved. Plus, it is totally over the top and ridiculous, although I was fascinated. Perfect for teens but maybe we've aged out?
