Sooo... I was watching the end of my favorite tv series of all time - prior to Bones. And I've watched this clip like a thousand times (the last 7 mins of JAG):
And I'm wondering how it will feel when we watch the last 7 minutes of Bones. I'm thinking bittersweet. Thoughts?

How would you end the series if you got to write the last ep? That's the million dollar question!

If I were to write the last ep ... assuming that the last ep was the one where they got together, I would have them both jumping into the relationship with both feet, admitting all their feelings - just because the fangirl in me wants to hear it.
But, my ideal way to end the series would be to have them get together then go through ups and downs as they try to make the relationship work and keep solving murders. That would make for really interesting tv. Then the series could end with them making a final commitment (not marriage because I'm not sure I'd ever believe that from Brennan). I don't think once they're together it could go on for more than a season, though. Although with great writing and acting maybe it could. see? I'm totally on the fence here!

And when your stars actually want a relationship to work I think your chances of a satisfying series resolution go up exponentially.
